Robert M. Holbrook, MD

Robert M. Holbrook, M.D., is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  Raised in Norman, it was always his dream to practice medicine in his hometown. Dr. Holbrook joined Dr. Lackey in July of 2006 upon completion of his Gastroenterology training. He is an active member of the medical staff at Norman Regional Health Systems, Moore Medical Center, and Norman Endoscopy Center.

After graduating from Norman High School, Dr. Holbrook received a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Nutrition from the University of Oklahoma.  He worked as a clinical coordinator conducting clinical trials at both the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and the Oklahoma Foundation for Digestive Research.  In 1996, he was accepted into the University of Oklahoma Medical School, graduating in 2000.  A Sooner at heart he completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship in Oklahoma City at the OU Health Sciences Center.  A Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Holbrook, is proud to serve his fellow Oklahomans.

Dr. Holbrook belongs to the following professional organizations: American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American and Oklahoma State Medical Associations, the Arkansas Oklahoma Endoscopic Society, and the Cleveland/McClain County Medical Association.
